Yeah I too got it ! Promoted ! Very Happy :)

Promotion is a great milestone in everyone's career whenever it may happen -- sooner or later .. Yes some folks get it on time or before even whereas there are some who have to wait for it for some or other reason(career break/performance etc. )

So I guess my story is straightforward story of female employee going on maternity break. But its not so simple if viewed from my angle. 

I was very much disturbed mentally while I was on my ML since I could see all my peers going at next level. I just could not understand why not me when I am seeing the next level movement happening in bulk.. yes its true! don't know what performance indicators or policies to identify people who will move to next level, or is it based on lottery system! I still cant understand this and its still deep inside as a black hole. 


But with all darkness within i could see some light as well as I had some very encouraging people to talk to who gave me motivation and how I can achieve what I want to. This was not it, they also guided me with steps that I should take to move up the ladder in my career. I am deeply indebted to those few handful of people  for believing in my capabilities that helped me to perform as per the expectation. 

Many thanks to my Career Counselor for guiding me in every step and helping me in any kind of request that I had. I joined Accenture on 26/11/2019 but little did I get to know about the complete process for going to next level till 25/11/2021 as I got my current counselor after that . I am being too much frank here and want to give my heartfelt thanks to my current career counselor as he guided me on what exactly is required from my end to present my case for next level. Also, I am thankful to one senior female leader who heard my story and also motivated me to do things in right way. I guess doing things right is also important than doing right things.  I think I got fortunate that at least I got to know things though late
